Your journey begins with a breathtaking helicopter flight from Anchorage or Talkeetna to Sheldon Chalet. What is included and what is excluded?
Your Sheldon Chalet booking includes everything necessary for an extraordinary experience: helicopter flight, dedicated staff, all meals and beverages, and adventure apparel and equipment. You only need to bring your favorite comfortable adventure clothing. Gratuity is not included in your booking and serves as a gesture of appreciation for the exceptional service provided by our staff during your stay.

Each season at Sheldon Chalet offers its own unique beauty and opportunities for adventure. Whether you're drawn to the winter wonderland, the vibrant colors of spring, the endless daylight of summer, or the captivating auroras of autumn, there's something enchanting awaiting you year-round. Choose the season that aligns with your preferences and objectives, and we'll ensure an unforgettable experience tailored just for you.
How much does it cost to stay?
Rates are determined by the number of nights and guests. Packages begin at $32,000 a night.
Is there a minimum night stay?
We require a minimum stay of three nights. Opt for four or five nights to unlock additional adventures. For avid backcountry skiers seeking extensive glacier skiing on Denali and vast terrain, we recommend stays beyond five nights.
How far in advance do I need to plan to book my stay?
To secure your stay at Sheldon Chalet, plan and book well in advance as the entire Chalet is booked for each experience and once dates are sold, they're no longer available.
When is the aurora visible?
Aurora season begins in September when the nights become dark again and concludes at the end of April when the dark skies yield to endless daylight.
